Are we apart from nature or are we a part of nature?

Are we apart from nature or are we a part of nature? A very good question I would ask myself. Now this question has been going on for several years, and half of the world would probably say that we are superior in every way, shape and form, the other half would say otherwise. We are both, in my opinion, since with nature we wouldn’t really have survived without the oxygen, food, and water nature provides us with, but to an extent we are apart from it too. The reason why is because humans play virtual reality and all we have to do for it is stay indoors, also humans are part of the reason for global warming, pollution, and any other major problem the Earth faces today, and the reason we are still inferior to nature is that people forget that we evolved from apes as people have proved and as Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution mentioned.

Now onto virtual reality, virtual reality or VR allows us to play games and basically interact with the world, but virtually. The reason why I added this is because virtual reality or any kind of technology in general physically separates us from nature and nowadays most people spend at least 90%(21 hours) indoors. This is the reason why we are apart from nature because everything we do in VR proves that we don’t have to really do anything except put a headset in front of our eyes and technology allows us to just order stuff and just wait for it to reach our homes.

Most of Earth's major problems were caused by humans, such as global warming and pollution. Global warming is one of them. Global warming is the long-term heating of our Earth's surface. We have caused global warming by manufacturing goods and making power and there's a whole lot more. Another thing would be pollution which is caused by vehicle emissions, fuel oils and natural gas. There is also plastic pollution. Plastic pollution is when the accumulation of synthetic plastic products in the environment to the point that is negatively affects humans, wildlife, and their habitats.

Now you must be wondering why I brought this up, and the reason why is because us causing some of the Earth’s major problems shows that what we do impacts the Earth and, in a way, it shows that we are still a part of nature.

Another thing is the ozone depletion and it’s when chlorine and bromine atoms contact the ozone in the stratosphere, they destroy the ozone molecules. One chlorine atom can destroy over at least 100,000 ozone molecules before the chlorine atom is removed from the stratosphere. Ozone can be quickly destroyed than it is naturally created. Now I mentioned this because now humans are trying to save it. The ozone layer is the Earth's sunscreen, it protects us from ultraviolet radiation from the Sun. Many countries like Bhutan are now trying to stop chlorine dioxide gas by reducing carbon emissions. Things are looking on the bright side for us. Voila!

Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution allows the world to understand that species change over time and that new species come from pre-existing species and that every species shares a common ancestor. I brought this up since he wrote a book called “The Descent of Man” and I bring this up because his book looks at the emergence of humans in terms of primitive evolution and as science has proved humans evolved from apes, chimpanzees to be exact. Science proves that we are a part of nature.

Now back to the main topic: If we are apart from nature or if we are a part of nature. This type of thing causes such a huge debate. So let me ask you this: Are we apart from nature or are we a part of nature?
